Art direction, illustration, and animation for a comprehensive advertising campaign with Fort Ontario as the end client.
The Problem
Fort Ontario had little footage they could use to promote their re-enactments.
The Approach
Animation was used to put the viewer right into the scene and highlight the gun fire and action.
An illustrated scene was created digitally in Photoshop, and then animated in after effects. The illustration was developed in such a way that it would be optimal for not only the digital space, but also print ads and out of home advertising.
These three main scenes were presented for approval before the actual animation was created, ensuring complete client satisfaction.
Here is a sample of a print ads that was placed in several national magazines, as well as a billboard that was pitched for the following seasons campaign.
