This project wasn’t merely about designing a new logo, but creating a series of assets that could be used for everything from the fair website to t-shirts.

New Logo

The Process
- Initial meeting to discuss the important aspects of the current design and the goals of the project
- Sketches
- Type variations to establish the overall proportions and creative direction
- Presentation of the first draft
- Creation of the final logo and its variations
These are samples of the various type treatments and compositions that were explored.
The final logo was created as a vector illustration in Adobe Illustrator. Many of the details aren’t needed for profile imagery, on Instagram for example. So in the end several variations, including a four color logo for more affordable screen printing, were delivered.
